In March 2022, Ramser Development Company began redeveloping the 14 undeveloped acres at RV Storage Depot Altamonte Springs for outdoor parking.
RDC and its joint-venture partners, RanchHarbor and Saunders Property Company, bought the 55-acre property in December 2021. It was operating then as Adult Toy Storage and has since been rebranded RV Storage Depot. At closing, 41 acres were improved and in operation. The other 14 were raw land.
The previous owner had run the facility since the 1980s, after converting it from a commercial nursery. The joint venture's business plan was to put an RDC affiliate in as property manager and develop the 14-acre parcel. At acquisition, the partners estimated it would add about 500 outdoor spaces.
The property sits on Hillview Drive in Altamonte Springs, a northern suburb of Orlando, near the I-4 Maitland interchange and State Roads 434 and 436.
