In March 2024, a Florida fiber-optic contractor signed an industrial outdoor storage (IOS) lease at RV Storage Depot Altamonte Springs. It uses the yard to stage crews and equipment.
The first two IOS leases at the property, announced in April 2023, went to Jingoli Power, a utility contractor, and an undisclosed Fortune 500 company.
RDC's joint venture bought the 55-acre property in December 2021, when 41 acres were improved and 14 were raw. The property's IOS yards are on and around that 14-acre parcel, which RDC began redeveloping in March 2022. The rest of the property operates as RV and boat storage under the RV Storage Depot name.
